Here is some info about me:
In 1987 after breeding Yorkies for a number of years, I became discouraged with the lack of show quality puppies I saw in my litters.

At that point, I made the decision to start over. I set a new goal, to breed and finish a champion within 5 years. If I could not achieve my goal, I would stop breeding. I felt the Yorkie World did not need another "pet breeder" adding to the population.

Fortunately I only had 4 Yorkies to spay, neuter and place as pets. These Yorkies had been sold to me as show potentials, but did not live up to our expectations.

And so I started over- I am very happy to say, I finished my first homebred champion 4 years later. It can be done if you want it enough. Sometimes I think this is the most difficult endeavor I have ever undertaken, but it is without a doubt the most rewarding. I have made so many wonderful friends from all over the world because of my Yorkies.

Here at Primrose I strive to produce a happy, healthy, well-adjusted Yorkie who is an excellent representation of the standard.
